at the start of the video, were told to aim the club slightly right whilst keeping the shoulders, hips, knees and feet pointing parallel left of the target. when it comes to the shot round the trees, hes telling us to aim everything right?

Are you familiar with the new ball flight laws?

@CallMehParker if your golf ball goes on starting line and drift to the right then its only cause by 2 things 1is your club face open at impact 2your ball position is to back of your stand the club head will not rotate back in time at the point of impact

@izzy0210 a draw goes farther and lets you play more shots. It’ll roll more or, if you want to and play with a weak grip and it’ll land softer

Zach johnson doesn’t hit a fade…he hits a draw for distance he’s a short hitter…that was the furthest example from someone who hits a fade

Hitting a correct draw will produce more distance than a straight swing because of less backspin. A fade will produce less distance but will be more accurate. We need to learn how to consistently do both!!!!!!!

Sonicandshadow, vijay, Zach Johnson, Steve stricker and plenty of others play a power fade off the tee for more control and those are three of the most accurate drivers on tour. About your lesson, my boss plays a fade and rarely misses a fairway because it’s a more conforming swing path for ameteur swing speeds.

>WALKERBOTTOMLEY
fading has better control and ball stop easier on green.

>izzy0210
Draw has even less back spin than straight ball and ball run more. so distance is Draw>Straight>Fade, and control is Fade>Straight>Draw

why hit a draw??? it almost is never useful.l hitting it straight much better right?

WALKERBOTTOMLEY September 8, 2011 at 1:50 pm
